KILKENNY CAPTAINCY
The O’Loughlin Gaels GAA Club have nominated star forward Mark Bergin to be Captain of the Kilkenny Senior Hurling Panel for the year ahead. As County Champions they club has exercised it’s right to make the nomination and the preferred option is to have a club man as captain when available. Mark had had a superb year in 2016 with the club and looks forward to carrying that form for both cub and county for 2017. The club has also put Danesfort GAA Club to nominate an alternative captain should an O’Loughlin Gaels player not be available. Congratulations to Mark and best wishes to everybody involved with Kilkenny GAA for 2017
