PLAYER NEWS
Lots of suppporters heading to Croke Park on Sunday to give our man Paddy Deegan a shout as he lines out with Kilkenny v Galwayin the senior hurling final. Looking forward to a great game and a great result.
Unfortunately the powers that be decided to hold the Minor Final the day before which a total shame. The Gaels are well represented again and we wish the best of luck to Conor Kelly, Jamie Young, David Fogarty, Higgins Niall and the Kilkenny Minor Team who face Dublin on Saturday in the Leinster Hurling Final at O'Moore Park, Portlaoise
Well done to some of our Gaels who were part of the Kilkenny CBS Primary School team that won the CBS Schools Tournament in Waterford last week

TEAM NEWS
J. J. Kavanagh and Sons All County Junior Hurling League
Kilmacow 2-12 to 1-18 O'Loughlin Gaels
Another good win for these lads puts them into the semi-final of this competition. Well done to all involved
Result: Jnr B Hurling League
Dicksboro 1-14 to 0-20 O'Loughlin Gaels
A good win in extremely hot conditions at Palmerstown after a very competitive game. Well-done to all the Hurlers. Good job by all involved
Result: Duggan Steel Under-15 Roinn A Hurling League
O'Loughlin Gaels 2-6 to 4-13 Dicksboro.
Hard luck to our u15s who hurled very well to earn a half time lead in this game. A stiff second half breeze favoured the visitors however and Dicksboro ran out eventual winners. Great performance by goal keeper for the evening Jack Aylmer who did a good job as last man in defence despite the scoreline. Well done to all the boys putting in an honest effort in an O'Loughlins jersey. Lovely hurling
Result: u13 A Hurling Lge Rd 2.
O'Loughlin Gaels 2-6 to 4-12 James Stephens.
Disappointment for the young 'Gaels this evening as the visitors went away with a hard fought win. The scoreline was not reflective of the effort as the boys were unlucky at times not to be rewarded in scores at the end of some good passages of play. A little more work at the training fields and these lads will continue to be competitive ..encouraging signs for the management team. Well done all...lovely hurling
U13 B team travelled to Slieverue and suffered the consequences of a poor start and leaving too much to do in the second period. A great fight back though and the boys showed their metal as the comfortably won the second half and look forward now to bringing that energy to their next outing. Best for the boys this week was JJ Mooney, Zac Evans and Cormac Wall.
Well done to our u9s and u11s who continue to compete in tournaments and Kilkenny GAA’s BlackandAmberDays series..giving all our young new hopefuls the opportunities to compete for their club against a range of oppositions at different venues.
Lots of fixtures this week with the Juniors, Junior Bs, u15s and u13s all scheduled to play games. Please support our teams.
