O'Loughlin Gaels u21s take in Bennettsbridge GAA in the Roinn A Northern Hurling Championship Semi Final. Throw-in is at 1pm on Sunday afternoon in Freshford. It would be great to see a large O'Loughlin Gaels support so try and get out there and let's show the lads we're behind them.
Reminder that Santa Clause is making a very special visit to the club today to see all the players and families of O'Loughlin Gaels juvenile section at their Christmas party. Remember the throw in time for events is now at the earlier of time 3.30pm today (Sunday) to facilitate Santa's busy schedule. Please donate what you can to our selected charity today , Temple Street Children's Hospital, a worthy cause you'll all agree.
Big Congratulations to our own Jim Kavanagh who received his second national award in recent weeks for his work with Chernobyl Children International, a charity which helps to ease the suffering of disadvantaged children across Belarus. Jim has also served as chairperson of O'Loughlins Camogie club up to this year and has elected to pass the baton after many years of great work. Well done Jim.
Christmas is not the only thing coming in December. The eagerly anticipated and always keenly attended Jim O’Hara Memorial Tournament is almost upon us again. The event takes place on Friday 12th December next in the upstairs lounge in the OLG Clubhouse at 8:30 sharp. Registration takes place on the night from 8:10. The entry fee of €50 will get you 20k chips. 1 rebuy €20 – 15K chips at any level up to break. Prize fund will be according to entries on the night. The final table will consist of 9 players. Blind levels – 15 minutes. First level – 100/20: see list.
O’Loughlin Gaels will hold its A.G.M. on Wed 10th Dec at 7:30 p.m. The Meeting will take place in our Clubhouse lounge and all members are invited and encouraged to attend. This is your chance to have a say in how your Club is run. So please come along on the night and feel free to participate.

Johnswell School’s annual coffee morning and Christmas craft sale will take place at 10.30am on Sunday 14th December in the school. This is an excellent opportunity to see and buy the crafts the pupils and parents have made over the last few weeks. Calling all juvenile members - U6's, U8's & U10's for both boys and girls. You and your families are invited to our Christmas Party on Sunday Dec 14th next. There will be lots of craic - face painting, tug o war and we also hope to have a very special guest from the North Pole. A voluntary contribution can be made in aid of Temple Street Hospital on the day. Throw in time is at 4:00 and it all takes place in the OLG gym. So don't miss it and don't forget to tell your family.
