Calling all OLG members: we are having our end of year get together on Saturday 6th December next in the Clubhouse bar. We are encouraging any and all members to come along and join in the fun. We hope to see hurlers, handballers, footballers and camogie players on the night. If you're someone who has given towards the cause in 2014 - we want to be able to say thank you. So please bring a friend and we'll see you around 9:00 p.m. on Sat Dec 6th next.

Christmas is not the only thing coming in December. The eagerly anticipated and always keenly attended Jim O’Hara Memorial Tournament is almost upon us again. The event takes place on Friday 12th December next in the upstairs lounge in the OLG Clubhouse at 8:30 sharp. Registration takes place on the night from 8:10. The entry fee of €50 will get you 20k chips. 1 rebuy €20 – 15K chips at any level up to break. Prize fund will be according to entries on the night. The final table will consist of 9 players. Blind levels – 15 minutes. First level – 100/20: see list.
 OLG legend Brian Hogan announced his retirement from Inter-County Hurling today. Brian played and achieved to the highest of standards throughout his glittering career. His medals haul includes 8 Leinster SHC's, 7 All-Ireland SHC's and 2 All-Stars. Brian was also first up the steps to lift the Liam McCarthy on behalf of his Club and County in 2011.But Brian played the game for more than just medals. His towering displays at centre back will mean he will stand out as one of the greats of the modern game for years to come. OLG would like to take this opportunity to wish Brian well on his retirement. We also look forward to seeing him lead by example in 2015.......when the St John's Park evenings begin to stretch once again.

The Club's U21 campaign gets going next Sunday at 2pm in Jenkinstown v Lisdowney.
Can we do the Under-Age 4 timer??? Manager Joe Nolan, & selectors Andy Comerford, Jimmy Comerford, Maurice Nolan and Paul Cleere, plus a young and talented panel of players, will be doing all in their power to go 1 better than last year. It would be great to see a large O'Loughlin's support in Jenkinstown to try to kick the campaign off with a win. Kind regards, OLG 
Minor , u16 and u14 county champions
Congratulations to the junior teams and what a great picture from Luke Leydon to capture the season ! Players are represented from each of the teams at u14,u16 and Minor . 
O'Loughlin Gaels would like to send sincere best wishes to our Minors who take on Dicksboro in the County Final on Sunday next. The throw-in is at 12:45 and it promises to be a great occasion. We urge all OLG supporters to get along to Nowlan Park and cheer on the Boys from St John's Parish.
