O'Loughlin u8s keep up their good form of late and participated in Ballycallan GAAs annual field day. The boys were super again as they took to field against teams from Tullaroan, Gowran and hosts Ballycallan. Good hurling talent was evident on all teams and our O'Loughlins boys were immense in their challenges. Luke Quigley, Darragh Powell and Conor Murphy were sold as always..Daniel Byrne impressed with some fierce tackling and Cormac Wall fought hard throughout. Daniel McCormack, Captain Stephen Butler and Greg Kelly each made fine contributions as did Luke Hanrahan and Eoghan O'Brien. O'Loughlins defence was shored up with a stoic performance by the very consistent Michael Lambert. The teams mentors and parents are very proud of the boys in the manner in which they performed..the skills and scores demonstrated were as good as seen anywhere at any level. More games ahead for these guys and the u8s panel.
