Gaelic Football continued tonight with 48 players taking to the fields at a sun-drenched John's Park for more eagerly contested training sessions. The development of skills over a relatively short time since the boys started is very obvious.  Numerous players are consistently displaying skills akin to anything seen on our TV screens from Croke Park each week. High catching, kick passing, hand passing and possession football are all skills that these young players are getting more and more comfortable with each week.
The enthusiasm shown by the boys play is testimony to the efforts put in by all the coaches and the club conveys a big thanks to all concerned for their time on this regard. So parents ....keep bringing those young players, there'll be plenty more summer evenings where these lads can display their skills and continue to have great fun. More players are always welcome and we will arrange some matches later in the Summer.
Gaelic Football continues each Monday at 6.30pm for u8s, u9s, u10s and u11s. Gumshield is required.
