O'Loughlin Gaels 0-17 to 0-8 The Village
Good result for our Junior Hurlers tonight. By far the better team they dominated for all of the game. Andy Cantwell took the reins from the back and youngsters Gary Bryan , Daniel O'Connor and Huw Lawlor all had suberb games. At 8 pts to 6 at half time O'Loughlins should have been out of site only for a few mis-directed efforts but the second half saw the lads resume their dominance and see a bit more accuracy in front of the posts. Danby Bolger and Shane O'Mahony adding a couple of beauts. O'Loughlin Gaels scored 9pts in total in the second half to James Stephens 3pts (2f) from their best player on the night Jamie Byrne. The boys won't be bothered too much about the ease of tonights result but will be glad to bag the points. Well done O'Loughlins.
