Well done to Jack Sheridan, Marble City Boxing Club (now located in St John's Parish) who boxed in an All-Ireland Semi-Final last week at The National Stadium, Dublin. Jack gave an excellent account of himself against Willie "Big-Bang" Casey Jnr., representing Munster, but just came up short on the day. There is no need to fear for Jack: he bounced back to play an important role in O'Loughlin Gaels' u14 Féile qualifier victories last Sunday, punching in with two well taken goals at Hugginstown against St Lachtains, Freshford.
