The player's race to sell most ticket is almost at an end and all five think they're going to win!  This means that four of them are going to be bitterly disappointed. All through the campaign the leader board changed as players clambered to out do each other in ticket sales. There was some cut throat  stuff going on to get the advantage and every opportunity was taken to find a seller. Disciplinary action, special hearings and numerous sub-committee meetings will bring this Player Driven Fundraiser to its ultimate climax on Friday night.  You don't want to miss it... If you've got a ticket you could win a cool €1000 or a fine young Bull Calf. If you haven't got one then get one so that you're in with a chance to win.  Be there to see who claims the Players Team Prize and bragging rights when the big announcement is made. It will be great craic..a bit of music..some lively banter and a few spot prizes. The County u21 hurling Champions and The County Minor Football Champions will be awarded their medals at a celebration in O'Loughlin Gaels Club next Saturday (Feb 6th) at 8.30pm. ALL ARE WELCOME to the event as we take the opportunity to honour these lads. A huge effort by all the players and their management teams resulted in the u21s bridging a 34 year gap since this Hurling title was last won by the club in 1981. The Football title reaps a county final medal for the Minor Players which is just rewards for the efforts put in by these boys throughout 2015. This will be a great evening with all are  invited to come along and inspire great things going forward. We look forward to seeing you.
