A good evening for hurling in bennetsbridge and the Gaels faced a stiff test from ballyhale shamrocks. The lads hurled hard in the first half and were rewarded with a goal right on the stroke of half time which gave them a well deserved lead going in. They pushed harder again in the second half to run out winners and move on .
