The u10s got off to a flyer tonight in the Go Games series with an excellent performance in St. Johns Park against The Village. The boys commitment and energy was very evident in the way they excelled throughout the game. Kevin Waldron dictated the play from the heart of defence aided by Brandon Wall, Harry Roberts and Tadgh Crowley. Ollie Duncan, Fionn Lawlor and Josh Hynes pulled the strings in Midfield. Up front Cian Nolan, Orestas Balsys, Ruairi Galway... and Jamie Kenny were outstanding. Philip Phelan manned ably between the posts and did very well under the slippy conditions. Michael Lambert, Aaron Maher, Luke Quigley and Osín Farrell were all on song when called upon....with Aaron getting two fantastic scores late into the match. Whether the match would go ahead at all was in doubt when the skies opened up and hailstones rained down. The picture shows the boys in the 'tunnel' (equipment shed) before the game as it rained when Osín Farrell was on song again and led the boys in rousing rendition of Amhrán na bFhiann. The summer ahead already looks brighter!

These eager lads and the rest of the squad will play more games on Saturday and Sunday and over the next few weeks. Great work boys.
Osín and boys are on song...
