Club Christmas Party
O’Loughlin Gaels held its annual Club Christmas Party on Saturday last. It was great to see such a large turnout in the upstairs lounge. Finger food and freshly cut sandwiches were served and the bar heaved with activity all night long. The members reflected on what was an excellent year, which saw the trophy cabinet being challenged for space throughout the playing calendar. Of course, pride of place in the same cabinet goes to the silverware won by our gallant Minors some weeks ago. Music was provided on the night by The Fife Band – a group who specialise in WIND instrumentation!

Smile For The Camera!
RTE will broadcast mass from St John’s Church next Sunday morning. Unfortunately, we don’t get to pick the time. But they explicitly request that all mass-goers be in their places 15 minutes beforehand, i.e., 10.45 a.m. After mass, we request that all car owners parked on the grounds would remove them immediately to avoid traffic chaos as the 12.00 noon people would soon be arriving. The broadcast mass, featuring the combined St John’s Church Vigil, 10.30 & 12.00 choirs, with Seamus Brennan conducting, may be picked up on: RTE Radio 1, LW 252; RTE Radio 1 Extra On Line; and D.A.B.
