MR. JOHN COONEY RETIRES
Best wishes to John Cooney who retires from teaching after 34 years at St. John’s School in Ballybought Street. John can be accredited to introducing many young lads to playing hurling and handball in St. John’s Parish and O’Loughlin Gaels GAA. He’s enthusiasm for educating young boys and girls has stood to all that have been lucky enough to come under his radar. Well done Mr. Cooney, best wishes and enjoy your retirement.
RACE NIGHT
The annual O’Loughlin Gaels GAA Race Night will take place this year on Friday July 14th at Kilkenny Dog Track. Always a special occasion but a vital one to keep the club in working order. It’s a costly business providing all that enjoyment for our members but well worth it’s while. Your support is always greatly appreciated.
