FOOTBALL
A very good exciting game on Sunday morning at St. James’s Park saw O’Loughlin Gaels earn a draw against neighbours Dickboro in round 2 of the u13s Roinn A Football league. The scoreline finished on 2-3 apiece. It was a very cold and breezy morning so hats off to all the young players from both clubs who gave an entertaining account of the game. Well done all
O’LOUGHLINS REGISTRATION
There was another great turnout at Juvenile Registration last Friday evening when dozens of young budding stars visited the club with their families and new friends. Hurls were sized, helmets fitted and St. John’s Park will be buzzing very soon with our new players learning the skills of gaelic games. Registration continues any evening in the club and application forms can be downloaded directly from the club’s website.
EASTER CAMP
A great opportunity for all you Sumer Camp enthusiasts as the best Gaelic Games Camp will now run an Easter Schedule. Starting on March 26th it will run until March 30th from 10am to 2:30pm each day. Lots of Gaelic Games activity and there’s a small GAA Pack included. Rates are great value as always with a single child costing €50, 2 family members €75, and just €100 for 3 family members. The Jobber McGrath Memorial Darts Tournament will take place at O’Loughlin Gaels GAA Club on Sunday the 11th of February. Registration €10 is from 2pm with the first Dart to be thrown at 3pm.

On 15th Feb in conjunction with Healthy Ireland Iniative run by the Dept. of health we are holding an event to make healthy eating easier for Children. Award winning food blogger Ciara Attwell will talk to parents about how to make changes that can have a positive effect on how your family eats and will include creative ways to encourage them to eat nutritious food. The event is free to all and starts at 11am in this Branch.
We also have Angela Hayes from Teac Tom giving a talk on Mental Health on Fri 23rd Feb at 12pm.
