AGM
There was a very healthy turn out at The O’Loughlin Gaels GAA AGM last Wednesday evening. Chairman Brian Chairman thanked members for their continued good work and support of all teams and players. Development at the club has been ongoing over the last number of years with works to the new entrance, upgrading of the existing, maintenance of pitches, the external painting of the club house, upgrading of heating, electrcial, security and safety services all contributing to the continued development of the St. John’s Park Complex. Further plans will be implemented over the coming years and the continued support of members and supporters is appreciated. Much of the discussion on the night focused on fixtures and the impact the new structures will have on the welfare of all players. Membership has steadily increased over recent years and panels are all being well looked after resulting in a high level of success as was outlined by both the Adult and Juvenile Hurling/Football Chairmen of Donal O’Dwyer and Nigel Leydon respectively. Chairman Brian Murphy thanked everyone for their attention and attendance and ended the evening by wishing all members and a very Happy Christmas and a ‘successful’ 2018.
